Are you a craftsperson who would like to be part of the Craft Coop Community?
Here are the benefits: Co-operative style No joining fee. Opportunity to take part in craft events throughout the year Inclusion in the website and Facebook pages. Support and advice from other members Occasional social events Who can join? Any craftsperson or artist making high quality crafts can join, although our focus is on our local area of a 20 mile radius around each shop. Things to remember: Products must be genuinely hand crafted or designed by you. All work must be covered by liability insurance. If you don't have this, we can help you find reasonably priced cover. As a member of the community, we expect you to do a 3-4 hour shift in the shop for each week your products are sold in the shop (shifts can be arranged any way that fits around your other commitments) Your products must be of high quality and conform to Trading Standards and Copyright rules. You will be charged a weekly base rate for your space, and a small commission on sales. The base rate and size of a shelf depend on the shop, but range between £6/week to £18/week for a shelf. Note - Space in the shops is under great demand, and you are not necessarily guaranteed a place just by filling out the application.
