We are lucky to have space for a gallery in our new Windsor shop, and we'll be showcasing the work of one local artist each month. Windsor resident Annalies is our very first featured artist. You can find her work along the back wall of the gallery area for the month of May. My collection is influenced by nature. I create my colourful butterflies, animals, bugs and flowers using different mediums including acrylics, ink, pen, multimedia and metallic effect to create movement. Having studied printed textile design at University, pattern and texture are an important part of my art.

But through the very darkest of winters, we've always been certain that spring was coming - And here it is! More than half the adult population has had their first dose of the vaccine, shops are gradually opening again, we'll be able to see more people socially, daffodils are blooming, and birds are busy looking for nesting material. If you're full of the joys of spring and want to celebrate (and don't forget Easter is around the corner too), we've got 5 inspirational ideas for you here. |
